West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has made it clear that only he and the club owners will know what's happening with his contract negotiations.
Following the weekend's loss to Aston Villa, co-owner David Gold released a statement saying Allardyce was still the right man to lead the East London club, which recently has been the kiss of death for a manager.
But Allardyce insists he is happy in his current role and will continue to talk to both Gold and David Sullivan regarding his future at Upton Park.
"I know my relationship with David Sullivan and David Gold well and the conversations that we have remain confidential," he said.
"I'm more than happy to do the job that I'm doing right now and speculation regarding my contract situation has nothing to do with anybody else but the owners."
