Allardyce to confirm West Ham plans at season's end

Sam Allardyce says he will not make a call on his West Ham United future until the summer.

The 60-year old is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been continuing reports regarding who is set to take over at Upton Park when he leaves.

However, Allardyce says no decision will be made until the 2014/15 Premier League campaign is complete and insists he is comfortable about what will occur in his negotiations with the Hammers owners and board.

"The way the owners go about their business has not changed. They made it clear and plain when we started negotiating," the former Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United and Bolton boss told Sky Sports News HQ.

"While it continues to build up speculation behind the scenes, I have always known that's the way forward.

"I have never pushed to get them to say what's going on in the contract situation because they made that perfectly clear since day one, when I joined the football club.

"It was the same when my contract ran out last time, I waited until the end of the season. We've stayed in the Premier League and it'll be the same this time.

"We all understand the situation internally, which is the most important thing."

Allardyce's West Ham currently sit eighth on the table ahead of Sunday's shirt trip to London rivals Tottenham who sit sixth.
