Scott Allan's proposed move from Dundee United to West Bromwich Albion is set to be complete today.
The 20-year old midfielder has been linked with the Baggies, among other clubs, for a while now and it is believed that a £300,000 deal has been struck up between the Tangerines and the Premier League club.
West Brom boss Roy Hodgson indicated that the deal had been done when suggesting Allan could step straight into life at the top.
"It is great to have attracted such a young talent. A lot of clubs were interested in Scott and that has hampered his career this season as Dundee United didn't want to use him.""There is no reason why he shouldn't come straight into the Premiership. He has played in the SPL," he said.
