Allan is excited to be back in the Champions League with Napoli.

The Azzurri face an intense few weeks, but Allan is relishing it.

“It'll be 20 wonderful days and I love playing this much," Allan told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“We are prepared for these appointments, which will be very difficult, but we must take it one game at a time. We cannot get the approach wrong.

“It was an incredible year and we always want to improve. We've got to correct the errors from last season. Now we've got this great opportunity to play in the Champions League, but first of all have to focus on Palermo.

“We have a really united squad, it feels like a family and we always help each other out. The important thing here is what's good for Napoli, not the individual players.

“It's good to have competition for places, although I think over the next three weeks we'll all have a chance to feature."
