Allam: Hull rebrand about securing club's future

Hull City owner Assem Allam insists his push to rebrand the club is to secure it's future.

The FA have rejected his push to change their name to Hull Tigers.

But he told the Mail on Sunday: "I just want this club to be self-sustained.

"I am 74 now and you don't want the club to rely on me being alive or dead. Trust me, I'm an accountant, I know figures - if I drop dead tomorrow, this club is bust."
