All-time MLS average attendance record broken by Seattle Sounders

Seattle Sounders set the average attendance record after their final game of the season at Qwest Field on the weekend.

A crowd of 33,108, a Sounders record, turned up to see their side defeat FC Dallas and book their place in the play-offs in jus the franchise's first season.

That number took their per game average attendance to 30,943, a new MLS record for the regular season, and would have them as the 50th best supported club in the world.
