Former Blackburn midfielder Brett Emerton cannot believe the chaos which has descended on his former club Blackburn Rovers. Emerton spent nine years at Ewood Park - all of them in the Premier League - before returning to Australia in 2011.
"I spent nine good years at the club so to see them in the position they are in at the moment is hard."
"It is chaotic," he said. "A change of manager at any stage of the season is always difficult. To have four in one year is unheard of.
"During my nine seasons, we had our fair share of relegation battles.
"Even under Graeme Souness in the first years that I signed we didn't do particularly well.
"Under the Mark Hughes era we were a mid-table club and towards the end it all fell off again, so I had plenty of ups and downs.
"But it is not nice to see them in the position they are in at the moment.
"I have fond memories from my time there and still keep an eye on their progress.
"Hopefully they can regroup and get themselves back in the Premier League in the years to come."
