All square between St Johnstone and Hibernian

St Johnstone conceded a late goal to Hibernian in their 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park on Saturday afternoon.

Richard Towell's own goal early in the second half was canceled out when David Wotherspoon smashed home with ten minutes remaining to maintain their unbeaten run, taking it to six matches.

Towell was attempting to clear in the 46th minute but the pressure applied by Jamie Adams forced him to skew it past goalkeeper Mark Brown, giving the home side the lead.

But Wotherspoon capitalized on a good session of play from the visitors when he fired in after the ball fell to him off the crossbar following Darryl Duffy's shot from the edge of the area.

The Saints haven't lost in seven at home and remained ninth on the table, equal on points with Hibs.
