Australians Josh Kennedy and Sasa Ognenovski battled it out in Asian Champions League action on Wednesday night with a drawn scoreline the end result.
Kennedy's Nagoya Grampus came from behind to force a 2-2 draw with Ognenovski's Seongnam Ilhwa in their first Group F match at Nagoya's Mizuho Athletic Stadium.
Seongnam's Brazilian midfielder Heverton hammered his side ahead two minutes into the second half before Kennedy converted from the penalty spot to level the scores in the 57th minute.
Nagoya found themselves in front when Mu Kanazaki found the back of the net from the edge of the area but Seongnam rallied to grab a late leveler via Heverton who struck three minutes into injury time.
The draw leaves all Group F teams on one point after Central Coast Mariners held Tianjin Teda to a scoreless draw in China.
