Robin van Persie insists he is fine after injuring his hip in Manchester United's 2-0 win at QPR on Saturday.

The Dutchman was forced off in the first half at Loftus Road after falling into a camera pit when setting up Rafael's stunning 23rd minute opener.

Reporters asked van Persie, during an evening out with his partner in Alderley Edge, if he was ok and he replied with: "Yes it's all fine thanks."

van Persie should be fine for next week's Champions League Round of 16 second leg with Real Madrid at Old Trafford but may be kept on the bench for the weekend's clash with Norwich City.
