AZ Alkmaar managed to net a late equaliser to take a point in their Champions League clash with Arsenal, frustrating Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The Dutch outfit scored in injury time to deny Arsenal a win after captain Cesc Fabregas had put them ahead in the 36th minute.
Wenger believes his Gunners were the better side on the night but conceded that Champions League football is a difficult concept and that you need to be on your game the whole time.
"We are frustrated because we felt superior to this team," the French tacticiantold Sky Sports Xtra.
"We had a good performance but we couldn't take our chances and got caught in the final minute.
"In the Champions League you need focus for 93 minutes - tonight we made one mistake and paid for it."
The point keeps Arsenal on top of the Group H table with seven points, one clear of Greek club Olympiakos with three matches remaining in the group stage.
