Algeria coach Rabah Saadane believes Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has the ability to light up the tournament.
And Saadane is seriously worried what the England striker might do to his team, who are reeling after losing their opener 1-0 to Slovenia.
He said: "When I look at Rooney now, I see a player who is growing day after day, getting better all the time and now he is at the summit.
"It is not just the goals and the talent he has but he is also at the top of his maturity as a player - and that is what defines a great player. For me he is one of the top two in the world.
"And, if he is not the best yet, then he can become that man and very soon. The whole world is waiting to see what he can do in South Africa."
