Valencia defender Alexis admits he's been shocked by the demands of the Mestalla fans this season.
Alexis, who signed for Los Che from Getafe in the summer, says he's been stunned by the booing from fans.
"This team had won six games straight before the Zaragoza match," said Alexis. "It's impossible to always win.
"I expect the fans to support us, not to be booing after the first five minutes. Clearly we are professional and we must keep everything together in the good times and the bad, but the demands from the fans has surprised me.
"We do notice it on the field."
He added: "I believe David isn't thinking about it. I was also close to signing for Real Madrid last season, but I wanted to come here. I'm very happy with my decision."
