Alexis Sanchez has told Arsenal he wants to wait before considering new contract talks.

The London Evening Standard says Sanchez's contract saga at Arsenal doesn't look like being resolved anytime soon.

Sanchez, 28, has informed Arsenal that he doesn't want to discuss a new deal until the Confederations Cup comes to an end.

The Chilean wants to focus solely on the competition that finishes on July 2.

The Gunners have offered Sanchez a total package worth £300,000-a-week, but it remains unsigned with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus all looking to secure his services.
