Bayern Munich have tabled a contract offer to Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.
El Mercurio says Sanchez could earn around £10m a year in Germany.
That's despite the fact that Arsenal have reportedly put an offer of £250,000 a week on the table for him, which equates to £13m a year.
The move would make sense for Bayern, with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben reaching the twilight years of their careers after a decade of stardom at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern would pay £50 million to ferry Alexis away from the Gunners.
Bayern president Uli Hoeness said: "If there is a player that we really want, we have to spend more money than we have ever spent."
