The agents of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are working together in contract talks with Arsenal.

The form of the two stars sees them have the upper hand and their representatives ‒ Erkut Sogut working on behalf of Ozil and Fernando Felicevich of Sanchez ‒ are said to be keeping each other in the loop because it is in both their interests to do so, says the Daily Mail.

With Sanchez on £130,000 a week and Ozil on £140,000, Arsenal will have to smash their wage structure to keep the two leading lights of Arsene Wenger's team.

Both have just 18 months left on their current contracts and they want to tie them down to new five-year deals.

Wenger this week promised that the north London club would do the 'maximum' they can to keep Sanchez and Ozil.
