Alex Song has left his training stint at Arsenal to kickoff trials with Real Betis.

The ex-Gunners midfielder was training back with the Premier League side after getting released by previous club Rubin Kazan.

Arsene Wenger's side – as always – have looked lightweight in the central-midfield holding role and there was speculation he would agree a permanent return to the club.

But he is now headed to Spain in a bid to win a contract with Betis.
