Alex Song admits Arsenal need to bounce back against Standard Liege tonight after consecutive defeats.
"We need to start well in the Champions League," he told skysports.com. "A good start brings assurance and confidence to the team.
"We've lost our last two games when we've played very well. Standard are a good club. They're a top team in Belgium and gave Liverpool a decent game last season.
"They almost beat Liverpool at Anfield. I think (Jose) Reina saved a penalty in their game, so they are good. We need to play and be positive. We have to get something from the game, it's simple as that.
"We lost against City and Manchester United but that's football. We have to make sure we go on an unbeaten run like 12 games. To win leagues or trophies you have to go on an unbeaten run."
