Alex Kacaniklic was thrilled to make his Fulham debut in victory over Norwich City.
He replaced Pavel Pogrebnyak in the first half and came close to marking his debut with a goal when his curling effort clipped the crossbar.
"I got the call on Tuesday night and I trained on Thursday with the team," the former Liverpool youngster told the club's official website.
"I found out on Friday after the session that I'd be involved against Norwich and so I was very happy. It's an exciting time for me.
"I felt the game went pretty well for me. When I was told to get ready to come on I didn't think too much about it, I just wanted to play and I was happy to come on and I really enjoyed it.
"I just want to try and do my best and work hard and I just want to play. Obviously I just want to play for Fulham so that's my target; I want to play as many games for Fulham as I can between now and the end of the season.
"Bolton is next up and obviously they need a win at the moment so that's going to be a difficult game but I'm sure if we play to our best we can come away with a positive result."
