Alex is delighted for new Chelsea teammate David Luiz over his full debut this week.
Luiz looked an outstanding prospect in the 0-0 draw at Fulham.
Fellow Brazilian Alex told chelseafc.com: "From our team David Luiz played very well, and gave a great ball for (Fernando) Torres which was one of our best opportunities in the game.
"He did very well."
