AC Milan defender Alex admits Champions League qualification is their target this season.

Milan are in Dubai this week for a friendly with Real Madrid.

"We must reduce the gap with Roma and Juventus. It's very hard, but we must keep working on it," said Alex.

"Returning to the Champions League has to be our objective, it's very important."
