Alessio Cerci insists AC Milan was always his priority destination.

Cerci arrived last week from Atletico Madrid.

"I come to a Milan with a great deal of sacrifice because I must play and always try and give the best of myself to contribute to the team's victories," Cerci said.

"I have always kept on training, I'm lacking match fitness but I'm fine.

"There were other clubs interested in me, including Inter, but I'm happy to be here at Milan.

"I only wanted Milan, this was the team that wanted me and I was happy to join them."
