Juventus assistant manager Angelo Alessio concedes their Champions League commitments are taking a toll.
Inter Milan ended Juventus' 49-match unbeaten run in Serie A last night.
Alessio said: "Playing every three days it's not easy to maintain that intensity. We have to take our chances or will be made to pay against an excellent side like Inter.
"We misplaced too many passes and the interceptions saw them cause problems for us on the counter-attack.
"Clearly the forwards were too hasty in the first half when able to combine. Regardless of that, the team took the initiative and failed to score a second goal, so Inter eventually emerged."
