Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld has claimed that players who don't follow manager Mauricio Pochettino's philosophy will eventually be shown the exit door at White Hart Lane.

The Belgian defender further claims that a lot of players have already left the club because of their differences with the Argentine manager.

"He only puts in guys who work very hard," said Alderweireld.

"A lot of guys have left the club. If you do not follow the path, you don't belong in Tottenham."

Alderweireld added that you have to be prepared to do the hard work if you want to be part of Pochettino's plans.

"Physically, we are 100 per cent," he added.

"We can run all game and that is the way we want to play. We have quality and young guys who are eager to make the difference."
