Aldershot admit their Carling Cup draw with Manchester United is a game-changer for the club.
Aldershot chief executive Peter Duffy says the finances involved will be a huge boost.
"Watching the draw on TV, it was tremendous to get a home tie first of all. To then see the name Man United was just unbelievable," he said.
The Shots will host the Reds at the EBB Stadium on Tuesday 25 October, with Duffy adding: "This game could make a difference to the way in which we move forward as a club. We're very excited and (as for the outcome) who knows?"
