Wycombe Wanderers have made a move to appoint Aldershot Town's Gary Waddock as their new manager, according to Sky Sports. Highly-rated Waddock took charge at Aldershot in 2007 after a brief stint in charge of Queens Park Rangers.
In his first full season in charge, he guided the Shots to the Conference title and has since established them in League Two, where they currently sit in sixth place.
The Chairboys, who lie second from bottom of League One, parted company with manager Peter Taylor last week.
