Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton has yet to hold talks over a contract extension with his current deal due to expire in the summer. A number of clubs are thought to be monitoring Albrighton's position at Villa Park closely and are ready to move for him if he becomes available this summer.
"Nothing has been mentioned from either end yet," the 24 year old told the Birmingham Mail when asked about the prospect of a new contract.
"We are just concentrating on getting safe and then maybe something will happen, I am not sure.
"I have been pleased with how I played. I am enjoying myself and enjoying my football.
"I love playing and want to play as many games as I can.
"When the contract talks happen, then they happen and we will take it from there.
"I am Villa through and through, if given the opportunity, it is a great club."
