Albrighton says Villa players happy with coaching shake-up

Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton feels coaching changes last week helped earn them their point against Southampton.

Gordon Cowans and Shay Given were in the dugout for the first time after the suspension of assistants Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa.

Albrighton said training had been buoyant leading up to Southampton.

"Higher tempo, real sharp sessions," said Albrighton. "Training has probably been a step up this week.'"
