Albirex Niigata find stadium sponsor

J-League outfit Albirex Niigata have agreed a stadium naming rights deal with Denka, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The chemical company will put its name to the 42,300-seater stadium, built for the 2002 Fifa World Cup, for three years from January.

According to SportsBusiness Journal, the deal is worth an annual ¥70 million (US$700,000). The venue, which also hosts other events as well as football, will now be known as the Denka Big Swan Stadium.
