Alberto Masi is thrilled with his move to Juventus.
Masi was brought in from Pro Vercelli this summer in a co-ownership deal and had been set for a loan, but could now remain in Turin.
"I'm happy to have played a good game. It was the first time I'd been on the field in front of so many people. I am usually not nervous, but I noticed it was a different atmosphere," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I don't know what the club will decide about my future, whether I'll stay here or go out on loan.
"What interests me is proving my worth. I am inspired by Thiago Silva and Gerard Pique, but it's tough to reach those levels."
