Soccer By Ives is reporting that the St. Louis MLS expansion bid has recruited a substantial ally in baseball's St. Louis Cardinals and National League MVP Albert Pujols. St. Louis is one of seven finalists for the two expansion slots in 2011. St Louis Soccer United already have a stadium deal in place in the local suburb of Collinsville, the group are also claiming to have a further two investment announcements within the next couple of weeks.
