David Albelda says he's prepared to sit out his contract at Valencia if they're unwilling to release him.

The midfielder said: "The club continues to believe that I must leave. If there is no agreement, I will stay here in Valencia and will fulfill my contract.

"I do not know anything about any offer, nor do I want to know because it makes no sense to talk to anyone if there is no agreement with Valencia to terminate my contract. I repeat that if we do not reach an agreement, I'm staying and nothing will change my mind."
