David Albelda made his playing return for Valencia in last night's humiliating 6-0 defeat to Barcelona.

The midfielder, who had been frozen out by former Valencia coach Ronald Koeman, was a second-half substitute in the mauling and said afterwards: "It was difficult to play in such a game.

"But Valencia are where they deserve to be.

"There's no point in blaming eachother at this point in the season."
