David Albelda insists he's happy with his contract situation at Valencia.

"There were some problems earlier this season," admitted the midfielder, "but now everything is clear, there won't be a problem.

"If they do not want to improve my contract, that's their choice. I won't complain."

He added: "My form at the start of the season was good, but it's difficult to maintain it when you are involved in contract talks. So, I have separated myself from that as it does not help me."
