Al Wasl hand Maradona private jet to go hunting for Man City striker Tevez
The Daily Star says Maradona wants Tevez to join his mega-rich Dubai side Al Wasl after he was frozen out at Manchester City.
The former Argentina and Barcelona star is close friends with Tevez and has asked Al Wasl's backers to put a financial package together that could lure him to the Middle East.
Maradona took charge of Al Wasl earlier this year and reckons Tevez could help turn his side into the best in the United Arab Emirates League.
Maradona has a private plane at his disposal as part of his £3m-a-year deal with Al Wasl and could even jet back to Argentina to hold talks with Tevez.
