Al Shabab have rejected the chance to sign Ronaldinho from Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.
The Dubai-based outfit claimed that they were in talks with the former Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Flamengo star but have turned down the opportunity to bring him to the UAE league.
"We wrote back to Ronaldinho's agent last week and declined his offer," Al Shabab vice-president Bu Humaid told Gulf News.
"He's just over priced and the second thing is his attitude off the field. If they could not control him at Barcelona he can't be controlled in Dubai."
