Al Rayyan have snapped up Espanyol midfielder Juan Forlin.

The defensive midfielder spent four seasons in Catalunya after joining the club from Boca Juniors in 2009 and departs to the Middle East for an undisclosed fee.

"I've good memories of Spain, my colleagues and the fans," the Argentinian told rcdespanyol.com.

"It was my first club in Europe and since I arrived I have developed a passion for the club.

"I love this club and that is why I find it hard saying goodbye."
