UAE outfit Al Nasr insist that Mark Bresciano will not leave the club this off-season.
There have been many reports recently linking the 32-year old Australian midfielder with a move to Qatari club Al Gharafa but Al Nasr's director of football, Arif Abbas, has moved to quash those rumours as the former Parma, Palermo and Lazio man has a year to run on his contract.
"Mark Bresciano's contract with Al Nasr is valid for another season and the football company has not received any requests from any clubs asking for the services of the player," Abbas told The National.
"The clubs and players are bound by contracts governed by the regulations of the UAE Football Association and Fifa, and these contracts shape the relationship between the club and the player."
