Mark Bresciano is not set to leave Al Nasr for Qatari club Al Gharafa according to his current club.
The 32-year old Australian midfielder had a brilliant debut season in the UAE with Al Nasr, scoring 11 goals in 23 appearances, but there were some reports suggesting he was set to cut short his two-year deal and move on to Qatar.
“Bresciano has returned to pre-season training and remains an Al Nasr player. He will travel with us to Italy for a camp from August 21 to September 11,” he said.
“Until now, there is nothing regarding a move to Qatar. We have not received anything official and there is nothing in this.”
