PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has mocked Manchester United, claiming they were always second choice for Angel di Maria. Di Maria wrapped up a monster £59.7m transfer last Monday after PSG pulled out of a proposed deal saying the Argentine was too expensive.
Al-Khelaifi claimed: "He wanted to come to Paris.
"Yet even without the constraints of financial fair play, we would not have signed him."
