Ali Al Habsi insists Wigan Athletic will bounce back from defeat at Sunderland.
The Latics tumbled back into the drop zone at the weekend after they were thumped 4-2 on Wearside.
But Al Habsi said: "We've been fantastic in the last four games, solid at the back and looking like a very good team, so we can't let the Sunderland result knock us.
"There are some big characters in the dressing room who'll pick the team up - players who have been in this situation before and know what is needed to pull through.
"The players were obviously down after the game, but we know there's no time to feel sorry for ourselves and we'll get that out of our system quickly.
"The players, staff and fans will all be up for the challenge and ready to get behind the team to make it happen."
