Al-Ahly's Gedo attracting England interest

Egyptian striker Mohamed 'Gedo' Nagy is attracting interest from clubs in England says his agent.

The 27-year old Al-Ahly attacker is looking to move away from his homeland and it is believed that there are a number of Premier League clubs - including West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City, Wigan Athletic, Everton, Blackburn Rover, Norwich City and Wolves - interested.

"Gedo is a fantastic lad. Honest, hardworking and is a top professional," Menzo Messaoudi, director of Gedo's UK representatives Premier Pro, told Sky Sports.

"His goalscoring record speaks for itself and his experience and sheer ability will benefit the right club.

"We are in talks with a few clubs at the moment, and hopefully we can bring an exciting talent to the Premier League.

"I am confident he will have a bigger impact than Amr Zaki did during his time at Wigan."
