Italy coach Marcello Lippi is wanted by super rich UAE outfit Al-Ahli.

Al-Ahli have already snapped up Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro from Juventus in recent weeks and have made an attempt to land AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso.

Sky Italia says Al-Ahli chiefs have made contact with Davide Lippi, the Azzurri coach's son and agent, about taking the coaching job.

Lippi Snr is keen not to make a decision until after September 1.
