Al Ahli defender Cannavaro says he can make Juventus return

Al-Ahli defender Fabio Cannavaro admits he could return to Juventus as a director.

Cannavaro revealed his contract with Juve includes an option to become a director when he hangs up his boots.

“The quality of life is great here and I wanted to relax after all the stress of Serie A,” the 37-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.

“I have a contract for this season and the next, then we’ll see what happens. After all, I also still have a contract to be a Juventus director. I don’t know what role I could hold there, but we signed the deal last year and it’s still valid. For the moment I’ll enjoy where I am.”
