The mystery behind Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou's goal celebration against Middlesbrough has been revealed.
The Sun says it was claimed his gesture was a show of solidarity for Ivory Coast political activist Assale Tiemoko Antoine.
But Kalou made the gesture to thank rapper pal Akon for giving him a commemorative disc when they met backstage at his IndigO2, London show on Tuesday night.
And to thank him he paid tribute to the star by crossing his arms - mimicking the design of the logo to the chart star's Konvict Music record label.
Kalou said: "I don't even know of this guy Antoine. Why should I celebrate for him?"
