CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev says he's a great fan of Manchester United counterpart Edwin van der Sar.
The Russia international could be joining United as Van der Sar's successor next season.
Akinfeev got the better of Van der Sar when Russia beat Holland 3-1 after extra time in the Euro 2008 quarter-final.
"Of course, I can't forget this!" said Akinfeev. "But Edwin was perhaps the least to blame. On the contrary, I remember three or four times when he really saved the Dutch.
"In general, Van der Sar is a world class goalkeeper who has established this over many years."
