The agent of Ajax defender Johnny Heitinga admits the Holland international is "honoured" to be interesting Atletico Madrid.

Atletico had an approach for Heitinga rebuffed by Ajax earlier this week and the defender's agent, Kay Lerby, said: "It is an honour that a club like Atletico are interested in him.

"But for now, his mind is focused only on Ajax."

However, Marca says Lerby has already agreed terms with Atletico over a four-year contract and Heitinga will move to Madrid at the end of this season.
