Tottenham and Ajax are locked in talks over a deal for Davinson Sanchez.

De Telegraaf says Spurs and Ajax spent Monday in negotiations over a fee for the Colombia international.

Today, Sanchez's agent will meet with Ajax officials in an attempt to secure a sale.

Ajax chief Marc Overmars has already rejected a €40m bid for Sanchez - and former club director Arie van Os says they should be demanding much more.

"Tottenham Hotspur wants to sign Sanchez. We do not have to sell. So I would say to the board: 'Agree only for 60-70 million'.

"Sánchez has a contract until the summer of 2021 and is a very good defender."
