Ajax striker Suarez plays down Barcelona transfer prospects with Guardiola as rep
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Mon, 09/06/2010 - 09:01
Ajax striker Luis Suarez insists appointing Pere Guardiola as his agent has nothing to do with hopes of joining Barcelona.
Pere is the older brother of Barca coach Pep Guardiola.
"If I wanted to go to Barca I would not have chosen Pere Guardiola as a consultant," said Suarez. "I would have chosen someone else, that would be easier.
"Pere has done things very well and if a player is to go to Barcelona it will be because the coach and the club want him, not because I have the brother or whoever as my representative."

Suarez is actually scoring more goals than rudd van nistelrooy and if u happened to see some of his games at Ajax and Uruguay national team the goals he scores are mostly with class no crappy ass rebound goals most goals CLASS! please make comments that can be proven suarez Is very talented and 23 yrs old he has a tremendous future and can be even like or even better than Diego Forlan and if u don't belive me watch his goals on YouTube and you'll Noe dat I'm right :D
David Villa is an old player...Suarez is only 23 years old and a better player than him.
Villa i think is around 30 years old...and for two or three years he will be able to play for Barca.
Suarez will be able to play for 12 years more at first level being a better goal scorer than villa is.
Barca made a mistake.
Suarez, please come to Madrid.
"We need another player who can score a lot of goals" ahahahahahaha.
No. The only player you need to replace is Puyol.
