Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani is excited about his loan move to West Ham United.

Serbia striker Sulejmani, 21, is Ajax's record signing after they paid Heerenveen over £13m for him in 2008 but he has hardly figured under Martin Jol.

He said: "I am happy that I will play in the strongest league in Europe.

"I am up to the challenge and I am convinced that I will get the chance and the opportunities, as Avram Grant was very positive about my qualities."
